Conclusion of Valentine

We know from the literal information given in the book that Valentine is a very loving compassionate character this is shown by her actions towards Ender. The Author has used the juxtaposition of the two characters Valentine and Peter to balance out the struggles that go on between Ender, Valentine and Peter. We can infer that the Author chose to put Ender on the adventure becuase he was the "Third" the outcast of the family. It is Ironic that the Author has chosen Ender to play the main role in the story even though in the early chapters Ender feels that his parents didn't really want to have him. Therefore we can conclude that the Author has used Peter and Valentine in order to balance out and contrast their differences in order to in the future develop an unlikely friendship and partnership which then intertwines fate with Ender.
